Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades passages
With a pickup in Marrakesh, we will go to Ouarzazate via the stunning Tizi Ntichka Pass (2,260 m), over the High Atlas Mountains, to enjoy the beauty of the landscape on the winding roads that pass through the Berber villages. Access to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, which is a UNESCO historical wedding site and the residence of many members of the Galaoui family. We will have lunch by the Kasbah and continue walking to the Dades Corridors, passing through Ouarzazate, « Hollywood of Africa ». We will continue along the « Route Mile El Kasbah », the magnificent « Sand Castles », before stopping at the Citadel of Maghouna, the « City of Roses », famous for its beautiful roses, and the annual flower-picking celebration in May. We will continue to our hotel overlooking Dades Valley. A night at our hotel/riad. Dinner, bed, and breakfast.
Day 2: Dades Straits - Todra Straits - Merzouga
After breakfast at the hotel, we will return across the valley to see the amazing rock formation known as « The Monkey Toes » and the 19th century Kasbah of Ait Yul which is still standing today .. When you leave the Dades Valley towards Tinghir and the Todra Valley, you will see panoramic views of Berber mud villages. The ancient valley dominates. When you reach the gorges, you will pass under the 300-meter-high Red Cliff, where many climbers come to practice and exercise. Continuing our trip to Erfoud and Rissani, where we will have lunch, we will leave for the town of Merzouga, the house of Merzouga, where your camel awaits. You will be greeted with a cup of mint tea before checking in to your accommodation. A night at our hotel / riad.
Day 3: Merzouga region and Camel trip
After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your journey of exploration through the region, visiting the « black people », or the indigenous « Gnaoua » people of Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far is Merzouga Lake, home to a variety of birds, including flamingos. You can also visit the Bedouin Wire House as many Berber handicrafts are cheaper than in the big cities. In the afternoon, you will ride a camel guided by an experienced camel to explore the mysterious sea of sand in Erg Chebbi. Here you will spend your first night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Bedouin Berber tent. Dinner will be served in the tent where you will spend the night. Day 4: Merzouga - Rissani - Wadi Ziz - Errachidia - Medalet
After a trip on the back of camels at sunrise through the dunes of Erg Chebbi, we will arrive at the camp operator’s hostel for a small lunch, a shower, and maybe a quick swim in the hostel pool if the weather permits. . Meet your driver and car and travel to Medalet via the cities of Rissani and Erfoud. In Rissani, you will have the opportunity to walk inside the authentic souk, a variety of vegetables, spices, and dates; Here you will also hear different hadiths of the hooded men and the veiled women. Your journey will continue towards Errachidia along the Tizi Ntaljmat road.

Day 5: Medalt - Colonel Tizi Natalgamt - Midelt - Azrou - Fez
After breakfast at your hotel, you will drive to Fez via Ifrane. Your journey will be along the carved volcanic rocks and through the Tizi Natalgamt Pass to Midelt. When you stop in Zaida, enjoy a barbecue and refreshment with a cup of mint tea before continuing on your journey to Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Before that, we will stop by to see the barbarian monkeys in the famous Cedar Forest. We will continue on to Ifrane, « the French Village » to stop to take pictures or a drink before heading to your residence in Fez, where the tour ends.
