5 Days From Casablanca To Fes Via Desert
Day 1: Casablanca - Marrakech
After meeting at the place we had agreed, we will explore some places of the city like the biggest Hassan II mosque, the United Nations Square and the coastal coast « Corniche » …, then we will leave for Marrakech, where you will have free time to walk around the old town. Night at the hotel or Riad.
Day 2:Full day to visit Marrakech
The next morning you will visit the Menara Garden, a swimming pool surrounded by flower beds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounding fields. The sightseeing tour will cover several impressive places: the Koutoubia Mosque, the Majorelle Gardens, the Bahia Palace and the Dar Si Said Palace Jewelry Museum. Optional lunch will be in the medina followed by a stroll through the colorful souks of Marrakech. Enjoy a sunset drink on the exciting Jamaa El Fenna Square from the terrace for a coffee, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
The next morning, after breakfast, we will head southeast through the High Atlas through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, with a long-distance glimpse of the mountains, towards the ancient Berber villages of the High Atlas. . Next, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, then have lunch in one of the Kasbahs restaurants. Then we continue the trip to the Dades Valley overnight at the hotel or Riad.
Day 4: Dades Valley - Tinjdad - Merzouga Sahara Desert
After breakfast, we will drive to Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Berber villages are spread along the way. We will pass through the gorges of Todra, Tenghir, Tinjdad, Erfoud where we will feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Then we continue driving to a hotel in Merzouga, after relaxing for a few minutes you will take some of your luggage in a small bag (only what is needed to spend the night in the desert) and leave the rest luggage at the hotel. Then we will ride a camel on an adventure crossing the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. This is a golden opportunity to take amazing sunset and sunrise photos. Upon arrival at camp, we will hike to the highest sand dunes to sandboard and watch the sunset. We will spend, or stay awake, the night in a Berber nomadic tent camp with drum music in the middle of the Sahara.
Day 5: Merzouga - Erfoud - Ifrane - Fes
Our team will get up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise at the top of the dunes in the Erg Chebbi desert and you will have your breakfast. After these happy moments, you will return by camel back to the hotel, where you will find your driver waiting for you. You will leave for Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous and the Ziz valley, then you will stop to admire the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region. We continue towards Midelt via the TiziN’talghamt pass and stop for lunch. And right after lunch, you will be driven to Fez (the medieval city) through the cedar forest near Azrou and the Middle Atlas mountain with the possibility of seeing Barbary apes (monkeys). You can make a stop in Ifrane before arriving in Fez. Drop off in Fez. And don’t forget to wish you a safe journey and a good time with us throughout your life.
