Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi ntichka - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Boumalne Dades
Our 4 day tour from Marrakech to Fez will start with your pick from your accommodation. Then we cross Tichka Pass. Before, we’ll stop by to visit an argan oil cooperative. We will also stop at the highest point of 2,260 meters in the Atlas Mountains.
Our first attraction is the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. In the seventeenth century, the Galloway family built the first clay and hay room. Later, the Tuareg Berbers built more and became a fortress. The second thing to visit is Olywood or Ouarzazate. It is famous for its movie studios. That’s why so many actors come to shoot so many parts of the movie. For example, they shot parts of the movie Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
After lunch, our 4-day tour will continue from Marrakech to Fez to Boumalne Dades. Before that, we will stop at the Valley of Roses cooperative. Next, we will drive the longest street in Morocco, and stop in the mountains of Monkey Fingers. Also, curves tedder. Later, we will check into one of the Dades riad for the night.
Day 2: Dades Strait - Tinerhir - Todga - Merzouga
We will continue our trip to the desert Merzouga. First, we’ll pass through Tinerhir, the city of carpets. The city is also famous for its valleys. So we will visit them and experience the power of the water flowing through the rocks.
After lunch we will visit one of the oldest irrigation well systems. From now on we will pass through Erfoud, the city of dates, fruits and fossils. Later we will go to the desert Merzouga. There you will take a camel across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes to the luxurious Camel Camp. Trekking and camping in Merzouga was the highlight of our 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fez.
Day 3: Merzouga desert tour
On this day of our 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fez, we will take you to discover Merzouga. So we will take you to visit Khumaila, in this place the Gnaoua will play their music for you. Additionally, we will visit Mascara and Ribbon Mine at Mifis. Then we take you to visit one of the Berber Bedouin families who live in tents. Finally, we will visit the Hassi Lapid oasis and finish the tour by taking you to the hotel.
Day 4: Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Midelt Forest - Azrou - Ifrane - Fez
We will drive from Merzouga to Fez through the high and middle Atlas Mountains. First, we will cross Wadi Ziz, the largest source of date palms. Also, Errachidia Dam. Then we go to Midelt, the city of apples for lunch. We will visit monkeys in the Azrou Cedar Forest before heading to Ifrane. We will visit the lion statue in the center of Ifrane. Then we finish our 4 day tour from Marrakesh to Fez and take you to your accommodation.
