Day 1 : Casablanca - Chefchaouen
After breakfast, departure from Casablanca to visit Chefchaouen. Drive through the breathtaking landscape of the fertile coastal plains, continue the road until you reach the Rif Mountains region, which is the heart and location of the peaceful blue and whitewashed city of Chefchaouen. Once you enter the Rif Mountains and see a spectacular entrance to a wide valley full of blue-white buildings, you will recognize Chefchaouen. Settle into Dar Terrae, an Andalusian-style guest house. Then dine on one of the hotel’s three rooftop terraces. Relax under a sea of Moroccan pastries and savor a meal of tagine and couscous accompanied by an aromatic glass of red wine.
Day 2 : Guided tour of the Ciry of Chefchaouen
The staff will help you enjoy a panoramic view of Chefchaouen while enjoying a breakfast of fresh fruits, jams and natural juices squeezed from the terrace of your hotel. After breakfast, explore and visit Chefchaouen, the city of blue waters (old medina) on foot with your guide, who will share stories about the history of Chefchaouen. you can start your visit with the kasbah museum in the medina. The Kasbah of Chefchaouen belongs to the early 18th century and was built by the legendary ruler Moulay Ismail. It is quite simple with no architectural surprises but it is surrounded by gardens inside and out. Inside the Kasbah, you can visit the ethnographic museum that contains ancient weapons, musical instruments, and photographs of the old town.
