14 Days from Marrakech to the Imperial Cities

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech - Transfer to the hotel

Day 4: Essaouira - Safi - Oualidia

Day 5: El Oualidia - Jadida - Casablanca - Rabat

Leave Oualidia for Rabat and continue your journey along the Atlantic coast. Pass by El Jadida, a small port town, once controlled by the Portuguese, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and make a stop in Casablanca to visit Place Mohammed V and the impressive Hassan II Mosque. Day 8: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

Volubilis isn’t as spectacular as the Roman sites around the Mediterranean rim, but it’s still a relaxed way to look at an important part of Moroccan history. We will head to Meknes, the fourth of Morocco’s imperial cities and 17th-century heritage, where we will stop for lunch and hang out around the huge historic walls of the Medina. Day 9: Full day to explore Fez

Day 10: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga

Day 11: Merzouga - Berber Families - Black Desert - Merzouga

After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your exploration journey through the region’s desert, visiting the people of Khamlia, originally the slaves of Sudan, to learn about their music and lifestyle. We would also like to visit the Nomadic Wire House where many Berber handicrafts are cheaper than in the big cities. In the afternoon, you will ride a camel, guided by an experienced camel, to explore the mysterious sea of ​​sand of Erg-Chebbi. Here you will spend your first night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in the tent where you will spend the night. Day 12: Merzouga - Erfoud - Touroug - Toudra Gorges -Dades Valley

Get up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise at the top of the dune in the Sahara desert, then have breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will return on the back of a camel to the hotel. We leave for Tineghir via Erfoud and Tinejdad. Take a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra Gorge via Tineghir. Stop along the way to take photos and enjoy the views. Get to the Todra Gorges to enjoy its wonderful views of the canyons on a hike. Later we will drive to Boumalne du Dades and stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the Dades valley.

Day 13: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - High Altas Mountains - Marrakech

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will leave for Ouarzazate via Skoura. Stop for a panoramic view of the Taourirt kasbah and then another photo stop near the atlas film studios. After that, you will visit the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou and stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the village. In the afternoon, we will go to Marrakech passing through the High Atlas mountains through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m altitude).

Day 14: Marrakech - Airport
